Holy Trinity Church is a spectacular Byzantine architectural gem situated in the very heart of the city, in the Mangalem district, of Berat in Albania. This house of worship was constructed in 14th Century lying in the southern part of the Castle.

One of the Historic Centres of Berat and Gjirokastër UNESCO World Heritage Site, the church has a cross shaped plan with a dome. It is composed of the nave, narthex (entrance area) and the altar alcove. In the church many Byzantine architecture features have been skilfully used such as the inner organization of the space and the decorative and illuminative systems.

The site is a national Cultural Monument and definitely an absolute must-visit! You can experience breathtaking sunsets and and views over the valley.
