Albania's rich coastline offers unique opportunities for divers, who can explore the varied fauna of the Mediterranean through two different seas, and various sunken ships, such as the Italian hospital ship "PO", which sank in March 1941 after being hit by a British aircraft in the waters of Vlore, or the ancient sunken ship dating from the 3rd or 4th century BC north of Saranda Bay, considered one of the best-preserved remains in the Mediterranean .
Diving is particularly popular in the Ionian part of the Albanian coast, with numerous centers from Vlorë to Saranda. In the Adriatic, divers can enjoy the sport in the bay of Vlorë and at Cape Rodoni home to several sunken vessels of considerable age.
